Scary Stuff
It's okay to be afraid. I'm scared a lot of the time.
Afraid of failure.
Afraid of other people seeing me fail.
Afraid of rejection, judgment, and discomfort.
But you know what's more incredible than those fears? My desire to:
Live a healthier life.
Stay curious; keep learning and growing.
Have relationships in my life that uplift me, and I encourage others.
Chase my big, bold dreams and not quit.
So when it's time for me to leave this life, I want to be spent. Knowing the failures gave me opportunities to learn and move forward. No second-guessing myself and wondering,
"What if I would have taken a chance, bet on myself, and gone for it?"
Let your desire be more significant than your fear. Acknowledge the fear, but don't let it hold you back. Instead, keep taking small steps that propel you forward. It's the only way I know to live a life filled with no regrets!
Warmly,
Lisa Burbage
