How to Be Less Tired at Work
Your nightcap can be doing more harm than good…
Do you like to have a glass of wine to wind down after a long day or to help you fall asleep? I used to do this all the time, until I learned more about sleep cycles. Even a small amount of alcohol can prevent you from entering a deep and restful sleep. This impacts your ability to focus and be productive at work and can even negatively affect your mood throughout the day.
If you want to improve your energy at work and avoid that 2 PM coffee craving, it might be wise to save the alcohol for the weekend. A cup of tea is almost as good! I know, I know, this might sound like a big demand. But just try it for a couple days and see if it can make a difference in your energy levels and your overall performance at work.
